Hey all…Sorry that Ive been slacking the past few days. We have been busy and not home much. Ive been getting updates from Matt and those that have been to visit. Everyone has the same response…WOW, What a difference!!! The thought from everyone who has been there to visit has come back happy and excited with the progress that has been made. My mother-in-law keeps in touch at work with Dr. Bonasso. He has told her how he has spoke with Dr. Biundo, who is the doctor at HealthSouth. The understanding is that Dr. Biundo is confident in a good recover based on the progress made already. It is believed the conversation went to say that Dr. Biundo is unable to say how long recovery will take, but that he feels Wendy will do well. This is third hand information, so dont take it as completely accurate, but is was definitely good to hear! We have been praying for it, so please keep praying to make this information 100% true! Matt and others also say that Wendy keeps increasing the amount of conversation that she participates in. He says that she is unable to completely vocalize everything, but is able to “lip” her words. He says that Wendy has done much better in being bale to hold herself up at the mat table on her own. It sounds as though Wendy is making the progress needed to remain at HealthSouth, and most importantly, to get closer to the full recovery we are praying for. WE SHOULD CONTINUE TO THANK GOD ADN PRAISE HIM FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE IN THIS SITUATION!! Wendy continues to overcome the odds and improve. I also wanted to mention that this has been a busy week fro the girls. This is RECITAL week for both Taryn and Kylee!!! It is also VBS at our church. So We have been working with Melissa and Scott and Sue to get the girls back and forth where they need to be this week to help keep them from missing out on anything. Be praying for the girls that they get to fully enjoy this week they have been preparing for. If you are interested and would be willing to go and watch the girls, Kylee with perform on Thursday at RCB auditorium at 7pm(?). Taryn will perform on Friday, and they both will be on Saturday at 7pm. We will try to do our best at getting more timely in the updates, so dont think they we forgot you LOL!! Have a great evening and may God Bless everyone!!

I asked her what she was watching on tv and she responded House. She told grandma she loved her and I asked her if she liked my Curly hair and she said it looked good. I also called her Aunt Robbie and Robbie and Nicci got to talk on the cell phone for just a few minutes.I showed her pic's of Grandpa's fish that her caught and the tree Uncle Tim almost let crush my house. I have to reply to this anonymous response. I tend to not, but in this scenario, I feel that I must. Dr. Bonasso has been nothing but amazing. My mother-in-law was in the OR with him during all of this. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY CAN DO!!! Matt and Wendy have seen Dr. B for everyone of their children, and my wife and I are proud and blessed to call him our doctor. We have an extreme level of respect for him through all of this. He has been by to see Wendy almost every other day. He has gotten updates from her doctors everyday. Dr. B has taken to this just the same as the immediate family and friends have. This was such a unique scenario and occurance that there was no protocol or plan of action. In 30 years and over 10000 deliveries, this has never happened in his experiences. Jess and I had seen Dr. Prouty during our last visit, and he too stated that this was an unusual issue. I appreciate that fact that you, anonymous, is following up and keeping updated on Wendy, but we ask that this be a blogsite focused on positive information. If you are unable to leave your name and make these kind of comments, then it may not be appropriate to be posted. We want Wendy to be able to read this and not feel upset over any aspect of this. Thank you so much!

I also would like to respond to the Dr. Bonasso comment. He has been my doctor for five years and I think he is amazing. He has so much care and concern for his patients. I understand that not everyone gets along with everyone, but that is not what this blogspot is for. This is for Wendy to see and read the encouragement that came from everyone while she was recovering. I think such personal comments need to be kept to themselves. Remember it is not all about you, this is about Wendy and her recovery. We need to keep our focus on Wendy and continue to pray for her perfect recovery. May the person that wrote the negative comment find Peace with God and themselves. Have a very Blessed Day!

Hello Wendy and Matt,
I think I've only gotten to meet you both once or twice and very briefly. But I have been keeping Zach updated and we are both so happy and excited at your progress. We hope you continue to do well so that you can be home with your girls soon. I just wanted you to know how many people are out there thinking of you and wishing for your speedy recovery.
